Created for Afterglow, the annual fundraiser fashion show for The Center on Colfax, Legacy Blossoms celebrates the way the trans community blossoms into their true identity through transition.

The gown features hand-sewn appliqués in trans pride colors, rhinestone flowers, and spikes, with a detachable mermaid skirt and flowing cape covered in floral appliqués. A detachable one-shoulder strap with a ruffled boa adds another dramatic element, while a beaded floral fascinator headband and beaded harness-style collar complete the look.
